Brainstorming in Teaching English

brainstorming in english
What is Brainstorming?

Brainstorming means making a list of ideas about a topic. It is a method or technique used to generate opinions and thoughts, no matter how “fat” they are.

Brainstorming also encourages students to think out of the box.

What are the advantages of brainstorming?

The most important advantage of brainstorming is group communication: all the participants are involved in the process.  Also, it teaches us to think creatively and in a short time.

What are the disadvantages of brainstorming?

Brainstorming involves thinking quickly. But people think at different speeds and not everyone excels at rapid idea generation.

Brainstorm as many ideas as you can to add to the dos and don’ts for living on a tight budget.
